INTERNAL VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT The Judicial Service Commission is established under Article 171 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010, with a mandate of promoting and facilitating the independence and accountability of the Judiciary, and the efficient, effective and transparent Administration of Justice. The Commission invites applications from suitable Judicial Staff to fill the position of Assistant Director, Internal Audit in the Judiciary.

Job Purpose:
To provide independent, objective assurance and consulting activity designed to add value and improve the operations of the Judiciary.
Reporting Responsibilities:
The job holder is responsible to the Deputy Director, Audit & Risk Management.
Area of Deployment:
Directorate of Audit & Risk Management.
Job Requirements: Academic and Professional Qualifications:
For appointment to this grade, the applicant must have: -
Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following fields: Commerce (Accounting/Finance), Business Administration or any other recognized equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
Certified Public Accountants (CPA K) or Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Information Systems Auditor (C.I.S.A); or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.
Registered and be a member in good standing with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) or Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) or Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) or any other recognized professional body;
Meet the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution.
enior Management Course from a recognized institution;
Experience:
Minimum three (3) years’ work experience as Senior Internal Auditor, JSG 4 or a comparable and relevant position.
